Olive was the Star Student on Monday, clipped up all the way to the prize box on Tuesday, clipped up again yesterday, and passed off all her safety skills! Great first 3 days of the week!! Today she clipped down because she hit her friend's head into the wall because he wasn't listening to teacher. Mrs. Smith talked to me about it after school today. I was mortified. Olive sobbed the whole drive home, and kept saying she had a rotten feeling inside. I explained to her that when we make mistakes that feeling is there to help us not want to make the mistake again. I asked what she thought she could do to get rid of that feeling. She said, "Say sorry." So, after a timeout in her room, she said she was ready to call the friend. We called, she said she was sorry and asked if they could still be friends, and he said yes. After the phone call I reminded her that she needed to go into her room and say a quiet prayer to Heavenly Father, and ask for forgiveness. Later on I followed up, and she said she did it and that the rotten feeling had gone away. I let her know that Heavenly Father would forget her mistake, and we can too, and told her how much we love her. She's a wonderful little girl.

The kids finished skate lessons last night. I could not be more relieved about that. Think we'll wait to take them again till everyone can tie their own laces.

Olive got to choose a few friends to go to the movies with her today. She chose Lucy, Zach, Olivia, and Emma. They had a ball!

She fell asleep like this: light on (which for her is unheard of), hoodie backwards, with her blanky stuffed into the hood. For anyone who has a blanky, you know like I do that this is genius. She had a great day. Happy birthday, my wonderful girl.

6. I'd say she had a pretty good day.
