Schoolwork catch-up...

The kids are all playing in the girls' room right now. I just heard Olive say, "Ouch, Georgey, you just broke my bone a little!"

The Januarys last game...till spring, we realized today. Ugh! I'm pretty sure we went oh-fer this fall. But their performance today was definitely a far cry from the first Saturday. Almost no laying down, and Olive actually scored 2 goals! One was while the ball wasn't in play, but we'll take it. Love our cute soccer player!!

Olive: Because I was making my body. See, there's my T-T...

Miss Jo's class took a field trip to the pumpkin patch today! Chris took Olive, and Lucy tagged along. Looks like they had a great time!

He is the pumpkin patch owner,
and he does this Pumpkin Man thing for children every
year.

We painted trees together. She likes mine better, but I like hers better.

Olive's prayer tonight was something like this: "Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for all that I did today. Thank you that Penelope feeled better. Please I want Daddy to feel happy and safe. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen." And then she turned to me and said, "I love him." I said, "Daddy?" And she said, "Daddy and my other Father."

In September we did a lot of talking about, looking at, and tasting different kinds of apples. Olive has declared that Golden Delicious is her favorite kind.

She needed to wear red to school today.
