Other than playing outside for like 30 minutes, Olive spent the bulk of this President's Day binge watching Project MC2. So I forced her to read a NatGeo kids' book about George Washington and one about Abraham Lincoln, and had her pick one to write about. Here's what she mustered before sinking back into the couch.

Olive is doing excellent in school. She got all Os (for outstanding) on her recent report card. Proud of this girly!

Since we are going to be in California for her actual birthday, we did a little celebrating today. Presents in the morning, balloons and little gifts for her classmates in the afternoon (not to mention Daddy dancing in front of the whole class), and a roller skating party in the evening. She's one lucky girl!
