Schoolwork lately...

Olive gave a talk in Primary today; she dictated it to Chris and he wrote it down, and then he whispered it to her to repeat. Here's the video, and the drawing she made to show while she talked.

Today Olive's class went on a field trip to the library instead of having regular school. It was also the Weber State University anniversary celebration, which involved cake and balloons and confetti. I let her choose which one she wanted to attend, and even tried to entice her with the promise of a new toy if she chose to go with the family (because it was more convenient for me). But she adamantly opted for the field trip, and loved it. Here she is in her Miss Jo's Preschool t-shirt. And here are a couple pictures she colored at the library. I love love love this photo of her.

Our stake president asked us to pray as families at the end of our fast today for help in bringing people in to the church of Jesus Christ. Our family gathered, and Olive asked if she could say the prayer. She said, "Heavenly Father, please help us find someone who isn't a Mormon to come to The Church of Jesus [pause] and Latter-day Saints." Then she climbed on the nightstand in our room and looked out the window at the neighborhood trying to pick someone. No one's safe.
